The Old Castle

The Wuerttemberg State Museum is located in the Old Castle, established in 1862 by William I., King of Wuerttemberg, but it goes back right to the 16th Century, where former Dukes collected rare, precious and unusual pieces.
In the museum you can admire the country's history from the Stone Age to modern times.

The old castle also houses the new castle, which is a children's museum. It introduces children and families to a new approach of regional history.

For more information please visit the State Museum Wuerttemberg.
